Description

A planetary nebula located about 1500 light years away in the constellation Fornax. It is about 3 light years in size. The blueish colour reminiscent of a robin's egg is composed of mostly oxygen. The reddish areas show off where hydrogen is more concentrated.

I used narrow band filters for the nebula itself and RGB filters for the stars. Clouds came in when I was doing the RGB imaging and only 3 red subs were usable. I experimented with a 3D printed spider in front of my C6 during the RGB imaging to get the star spikes.
